We are excited to invite you to the first event organized by the a fireside chat with four of our members discussing ‘Becoming a Successful Executive: Practical Tips to Get There’.

Jennifer Francis (Global Arts Professional and Former Marketing Director at the Louvre Abu Dhabi) will moderate the discussion with our impressive line-up of panelists:

  • Shana Cooper-Silas (Head of Traveler Products, American Express GBT; Former HP, Kellogg and IBM Tech and Product Strategist)

  • Carol Fulp (Founder & CEO, Fulp Diversity Consultants; Appointed by President Obama as US Representative to the UN General Assembly in 2010)

  • Alex Rigaud (Capacity Planning Lead, AWS; Former Novartis and Accenture Executive)

Shana Cooper-Silas 

Shana is an accomplished product strategist and entrepreneur currently driving strategy and product development at American Express Global Business Travel. Over the last 20 years, Shana has been building products for both enterprise organizations and early-stage companies as a former software engineer, co-founder, and product leader scaling product squads. As the Head of Traveler Products at Amex GBT, she is currently leading mobile and messaging squads for the world's largest corporate travel management company. Previously, Shana worked in tech and product management at Kellogg, HP and IBM. Connect with Shana on EQ.


Carol Fulp

Carol is a seasoned business executive, public speaker and author dedicated to advancing leaders of color. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fulp Diversity Consultants, she assists CEOs and their organizations in advancing diversity and inclusion. She previously served as President and CEO of The Partnership, the nationally recognized professional services firm that helps organizations advance and retain multi-culturals. Prior to joining The Partnership, Inc., she held executive roles at John Hancock Financial, WCVB (the ABC-TV Boston affiliate), and the Gillette Company. President Obama appointed Fulp as a US Representative to the sixty-fifth session of the UN's General Assembly. She is also the author of Success Through Diversity: Why The Most Inclusive Companies Will Win, which was praised by Publishers Weekly and Booklist.

Alex Rigaud

Alex is a leading enterprise architect with 15 years of experience developing technical solutions for Fortune 500 companies, NGOs and five government entities. He is currently the Capacity Planning Lead of Infrastructure Demand Planning at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he’s responsible for planning the capacity to support the commercial and government AWS cloud platforms. Alex previously worked as an executive at Novartis and Accenture. He is also actively involved in his community: he is a board member at the Fishing School, collaborating with NGOs to help refugees in Singapore and Malaysia to create donation distribution centers, as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus, where he’s helped increase volunteer efforts to complete pairs and improvements in low-income areas. Jennifer Francis

Jennifer is a global cultural marketer and brand strategist across the arts, tourism and creative industries. She is currently the Interim Director of Brand for Grounds for Sculpture. Previously, Jennifer served as the Director of Marketing, Communications and Visitor Services at the Louvre Abu Dhabi; Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at the Philadelphia Museum of Art; Head of Press and Marketing at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
