Responsibilities

In this role you'll often find yourself...

  • Learning and growing with a talented team
  • Working directly with Volley leadership to discover, engage and nurture a variety of buyer personas
  • Researching contacts and companies
  • Crafting personalized emails and Linkedin messages
  • Prospecting leads through hyper-personalized outreach
  • Inspiring prospects to take a meeting through highly personalized outbound campaigns
  • Building trust with Volley clients and teammates across cultures and continents
  • Reporting qualitative and quantitative success metrics
  • Fostering collaboration with your teammates and actively helping others succeed

Prior Experience

This role could be perfect for you if...

  • You have strong communication and time management skills: You are able to communicate effectively through various channels such as email, Slack and Linkedin. You've developed the research skills to learn about a person, a company and the markets in which they operate. You can organize and plan your time to optimize your output. 
  • You are accountable, growth minded and a problem solver: You are used to taking ownership of your performance and decisions. You're naturally curious about the latest trends, technology and tactics in today's environment. You have an analytical mind and you apply this to identify possible solutions to complex problems.
  • You are familiar with marketing and / or sales tools: You have a working understanding of sales and marketing enablement tools like Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.

Day in the life at Volley

  • We are a remote first company. You'll have flexibility on where you work whether thats from home or in our Toronto office.
  • Unlike working in-house you'll get exposure to a variety of industries, products and startups. While being dedicated to client work you'll also work closely with Volley managers, peers and coaches.
  • We know what it's like to walk in your shoes - managers at Volley were all BDRs at one point in their career.
