Become a Zebra.Zebra Technologies Chief Technology Office incubates solutions and develops Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to improve the operations of Zebras customers in the retail, transportation & logistics, warehouse, and healthcare markets. The CTO team focuses on developing and applying emerging edge sensing, machine learning, and workflow orchestration technologies in innovative end-to-end systems solving real-world problems. Within the CTO, you will work with the best and brightest in the team and around the company. Responsibilities: The CTO Product Management & Business Development Team:Works with customers, partners, and vertical market experts to understand, prioritize, and drive market-level requirements into product backlog and roadmaps. Drives the development of product definition and cross-organization planning to accelerate the realization of new value through emerging technologies.Seeks insightful market knowledge, the voice of customer use cases and a great understanding of Zebras product and solutions capabilities.Establishes and maintains a strong knowledge of the competitive environment, which helps identify new growth areas, apply current and new technologies that can result in emerging product opportunities.As a Principal Product Manager, you will:Source, analyze, and evaluate key market statistics and customer use case requirements to define product strategies, opportunities and commensurate business cases to earn and expand market share.Get the opportunity to routinely collaborate with sales, business units and engineering to create and align early product definitions. This role is strategic and technical. It requires meaningful product development and business experience.Be responsible for a specific portfolio of products that contribute to Zebra business units. This includes increasing the profitability of existing products to incubating new products for the company.Identify new high-potential technologies that could significantly impact Zebra and lead the realization of new cutting-edge products.Qualifications and Responsibilities:The Principal Product Manager Is responsible for an assigned portfolios growth and business success and its products life cycle.Owns the overall marketing message/value proposition statement, business case, and contributes to the new solutions emerging P and market acceptance.Anticipates and validates market and customer requirements through comprehensive knowledge of the market, competitive landscape, customer requirements, distribution channels and Zebras current offerings.Collaborates and consults with other product managers to develop strategies and manage the tactical execution of product growth and deliver management objectives, coaching, and mentoring.Ensures the ongoing review of the competitive environment for their product category.Ensures that the CTO organization is aligned with vertical market experts, sales, business units, engineering, and related functions.Ensures the successful launch of new products within their portfolio:Work closely with software engineering through an assigned technical product owner to drive agile development. Manage product-related communications to both internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership.Actively supports the Sales organization as required in select sales presentations, proposals and opportunities. Responsible for creating compelling and persuasive customer-facing presentation materials.Monitors financial performance of portfolio and products and makes recommendations for pricing action against revenue and margin objectives.Travel as needed to visit customers, partners, attend seminars, tradeshows or meet relevant regional stakeholders. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant engineering discipline required and MBA preferred .12 years technical product management experience, including at least three years overseeing product managers in the technology industry.Managed Artificial Intelligence products in computer vision, natural language processing or MLOps domains.Technical experienceExperience working with a complex multi-echelon inventory or supply chain management product suiteHigh-level knowledge of operations research, sequential decision making and distributed algorithmsBasic knowledge of Python scripting languagePreferred Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to interact with customers and drive cross-organizational consensus.Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and oral presentation skills, and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from executive management, engineering, vertical practice leads and customers.Ability to assess complex market landscape and create focused product roadmaps from conception to launch. This includes conceptualizing new AI-infused products and adapting current product roadmaps to suit changing customer needs.Take ownership of product strategy, including product vision, requirements, features and design via ring-fenced deliverables.In liaison with the marketing team, develop go-to-market strategies for the product(s) under their remit.Experience working with cross-functional AI-focused teams using agile software development methodologies.Deep understanding of financial concepts, including P, balances sheets, and ROI.Advanced market knowledge in assigned product vertical, technology or solutions to keep their product(s) relevant.Self-starter, adaptable, persuasive, tenacious and perceptive, and be able to execute a well-developed plan.
