ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Support Regional controller in consolidation efforts as well as lead multi-business unit projects in addition to directly supporting two business units. Perform accurate and timely financial analysis on operating results and plant profitability opportunities while being active within the manufacturing facility to become an effective business partner with the plant management team and to understand its operations. Complete consolidation of management reporting financial statements. Develop and leverage relationships with Operations and corporate functions to achieve manufacturing and related finance KPI's and goals. Provide financial leadership through an understanding of the plant operations and driving continuous improvement. Assist with coordinating the annual business plan, cost standards budget, and monthly forecasts in addition to ensuring alignment with GAAP and company policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide direct accounting support for metals processing center and central dies business units

• Lead month-end closing process. Ensure that all tasks are completed on a timely basis in accordance with all published deadlines.
• Prepare and present reports and analysis to plant personnel as part of daily, weekly, monthly management reporting.
• Work with key plant personnel to prepare financial justification for projects and tracking progress and savings thereof.
• Lead the taking, recording, and analysis of the quarterly and annual physical inventories.
• Participate in the preparation of the annual plan, budgeting, and monthly forecasting
• Provide consolidation and analytical support to Regional Controller for all business units

• Responsible for consolidating, maintaining and analyzing reports and data for monthly business unit reviews and business process improvements
• Participate in the preparation of the annual plan, budgeting, and monthly forecasting
• Perform appropriate risk and sensitivity analysis
• Perform variance analysis on monthly, quarterly and year end financials.
• Other ad hoc financial and operations requests
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Outstanding communications, analytical, planning, and teamwork skills. Ability to convey financial information to non-financial audiences.
• Strong operational finance knowledge and problem resolution skills
• Excellent spreadsheet and financial analysis skills; using macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUPS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with independent judgment to deal with ambiguity
• Results-oriented contributor must demonstrate business acumen and resourcefulness
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Knowledge of US GAAP and other accounting/finance concepts
COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of ERP systems / General Ledger software

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 5 years of relevant experience.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:
Professional certification (CMA, CPA, MBA) is preferred
