Our employees bring a variety of experiences and perspectives that fuel our passion and innovation and drive our mission.The Product Manager is responsible for managing the delivery, performance and growth of LWT's current and future product line(s), serving as the product expert, and leading the ongoing creation of educational curriculum products, with a strong focus on multi-modularity delivery (print and digital), customer feedback influencing the product roadmap, and driving for strong student outcomes, particularly in hybrid and remote learning environments.What You'll Be Doing: Inform the strategy and portfolio roadmap through deep understanding of market and customer needs, lead product iterations while elaborating and prioritizing product requirements and manages the overall product lifecycle. Inform and implement the product roadmap and develop feature definition using rigorous business assessment and data analysis. Oversee product performance including budgeting, sales, and customer retention; collaborating with the Planning & Analysis team using company data.Analyze market trends and competitive conditions and contribute to the product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands.Track and optimize key activation and usage metrics across systems and measure success, and drive for increased customer usage for SAAS-like products.Drive for increased customer satisfaction of product portfolio via the continuous analysis of collected user data (Progress data, heat maps, focus groups, A/B testing, etc.) to influence short-cycle implementation of minor enhancements and planning for long-term product features.Stay abreast of market trends in EdTech, specific to our products, key competitors, and industry regulations and recommend actions to deal with competitive threats.Review and translate insightful, comprehensive market research to understand the needs of the market and turn them into product requirements.Research and validate user needs to ensure understanding of necessary features for the product lines, collaborating with the Product Development team to ensure all needs are identified, thoroughly documented and properly prioritized.Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and primary point of contact (POC) for the organization when digital product expertise is required; support groups that bring the product to market, such as Marketing, Sales, Training, Product Development and Operations, and work directly with customers.Track and ensure successful launch and sunset product strategies. Provide cross-functional leadership for launch or any product initiative, bridging gaps within the company between different functions, most notably between engineering-oriented teams, Sales and Marketing, and support teams.Ensure solutions meet market and business requirements set forth in business case.Facilitate quick resolution of product related issues and champion the operational processes required to support product delivery and customer satisfaction.Your Experience & Qualifications:B.A. or B.S. in Education, Marketing, Business Management or related field.6 years experience in Product Management or related field.Extensive experience in the Educational Technology (EdTech) space, particularly with products delivered in a SAAS-like model.Knowledge of the PreK-5 ELA market extremely desirable.Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.Background in educational technology and/or education.Experience identifying and implementing UX/UI best practices preferred.Experience leading lean/agile teams preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once while completing quality work on a timely basis and within frequent, tight, deadlines.
