Located in the Los Angeles, CA area, we are a stable and well-regarded manufacturing company seeking a talented Staff Accountant. The primary responsibility for the Staff Accountant is for managing various day-to-day accounting functions and financials transactions of the company. This role is also responsible for the completion of complex balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis.

Job Details

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years of demonstrated full-cycle accounting experience.
2 years of demonstrated experience in accounting principles and GL systems.

Performs weekly/monthly cash and credit cards reconciliations for multiple bank and credit card accounts for assigned subsidiaries.
Processes and monitors payments and expenditures for all payables on a regular basis.
Prepares and maintains schedules for balance sheet accounts including prepaid expenses, other assets, accruals, and liabilities.
Assists with monthly inventory reconciliation for multiple warehouse locations
Assists with monthly accruals & additional GL reconciliations.
Assists with weekly and monthly channels reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies in the raw data and reporting that will need to be communicated to other departments.
Manages accounts receivable and all related activities, including intercompany billings for fees and expense reimbursements.
Verifies intercompany accounts are balanced at month-end.
Processes and prepares year-end 1099 forms.
Assists in other tasks as assigned such as provide information for tax and audit requests and answers ad hoc questions on financial results.
Performs other accounting or administrative duties as assigned.
